Media Literacy

Pazinatto writes:
I use media literacy strategy in my drug prevention classes. Images from advertising are frequently used. Like as attached. In class my students analysed the adverts. Here in Brazil tobacco advertising are restricted to point of sale and we need to use old tobacco adverts. Is true that we need to contextualize but the result is very interesting. Thereafter they must write a blog post about their impressions and how this advert could be impact their life, if they are lived in that era. They also need to try change tobacco for another product. Quickly they choose beer. Beer advertising in Brazil are massive and learned with tobacco strategies.
