"Resouceful"

Kyra writes,
As a teacher, I have always considered myself resourceful.  Teaching abroad in the past has made me appreciate the resources I have here close to home, but also encouraged me to use my creativity to create materials for my students that were not easily available.  No matter what resources we are able to access, I think teachers should always reflect on how they can use what they have to best meet the needs of their students.

In what ways have you been resourceful recently?

"Different"

The topic; Think of ONE word that is a personal strength that you have honed or built from experience.  What sort of life experiences helped you build this strength? Perhaps you learned this when you were young; perhaps a more recent experience has shaped you.  How is this strength a tool that helps you teach?
Here is an excerpt from what Kathy says:

DIFFERENT

I like to look at things differently. For example, this is one of my own photos below.......Sometimes we have to zoom in when we look at things, other times step back for a larger view, or look from the side, the top, or even stand on our heads!
What do you see? How could this photo be used for an internet assignment that ties in with an outside activity? Click "comment" below to add your thoughts.
